Material

Fine quality pure handwoven beige dhakai muslin cotton jamdani stole practised in the Bardhaman (P.O. Kalna) of West Bengal. Jamdani is woven in several parts in india. The most famous of these places are in West Bengal especially Kalna, Tangail. Jyotish Debnath and Rajib Debnath from kalna are well known names in the fields of jamdani. Identified by its unique geometric and floral patterns woven into fine cotton, Debnath and his workers weave the most breathtaking forms of Jamdani onto muslin, a few counts higher than the original fabric. Today, Debnath and his artisans make the muslin from scratch, and the charkha is made in-house as well.
